Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
The app
Camino at Home is offered by ZeitFlow UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Berlin (see the imprint). You get the app through Apple's App Store, and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs its licence. These terms add the points that are specific to Camino at Home.
Free and paid content
The app and the Camino Francés are free. The Pilgrim Pass is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription, that unlocks the other Caminos in the app. The Pass is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any iPhone signed in to it.
We may add other paid content or subscriptions later. They would be offered separately, with their price and terms shown before you buy, and would not change what you already own.
Buying, withdrawal and refunds
Apple sells the Pilgrim Pass and handles payment, invoices, the statutory right of withdrawal and refunds. Ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What the app is, and is not
The app turns distance recorded by Apple Health into a virtual position on a real Camino. It depends on the accuracy of Apple Health. It is a game and a source of motivation, not a medical device, fitness advice or navigation aid. Walk safely and within your own limits.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract.
Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
